Insanely rare Casablanca Records promotional release of Kiss’ 1st live double album released September 10, 1975. The album features the concert versions from the Kiss’ first 3 studio albums: “Kiss”, “Hotter Than Hell” and “Dressed to Kill”, whose 1st pressing factory sealed copies you can find at our current auction. This issue is perhaps one of the rarest promotional albums of the band, especially in such a beautiful condition. The 1st print gatefold cover still remains in the original factory shrink wrap and contains inside the original promotional 8-page color booklet, which is indicated on the original hype sticker with the “NBLP 7020” catalog number affixed to the top right corner of the front cover and reading “A Specially Priced 2-Record Set Including an 8-Page Color Booklet”. 1st print Casablanca Records blue Bogart “Smoking Man” promo labels with the “Promotion Copy Not For Sale” banner on all of the four sides and “NBLP 7020-798” catalog number. Pressed at the PRC Recording Company plant in Richmond, IN, the vinyl contains the “RL” initials of mastering engineer Robert Ludwig and “Sterling” machine stamp of the US based Sterling Sound mastering company. This outstanding promotional copy not only contains the very early 1st matrix numbers, but also the very early -1/-1/-1/-1 mother stampers: Side 1 - NBLP-7020-1-2-1-1 STERLING RL PRC; Side 2 - NBLP-7020-2-2-1-1 STERLING RL PRC; Side 3 - NBLP-7020-3-1-1-11 STERLING RL PRC; Side 4 - NBLP-7020-4-1-1-11 PRC. This promotional album comes with two original Casablanca Records inner sleeves.

One of the best covers of this album that we've come across with for a long time. The cover remains in the original fully intact factory shrink wrap and is graded as Mint Minus. We grade the vinyl as:

Excellent for Side 1
Near Mint Minus for Side 2

Excellent for Side 3

Near Mint Minus for Side 4

The vinyl has only a few very light non-feelable surface hairlines as well as scuffs from the original Casablanca inner sleeves, both of which are in Near Mint condition, just like the original 8-page color booklet. The beautiful labels are also in Near Mint condition (practically Mint Minus, except for Side 4, which has only one spindle mark) and don't have any scuffs, wear or spindle marks. The vinyl sounds amazing with a punchy and saturated Stereo audio only having some very light occasional static which most likely would go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
