"The Kiowa Peyote Meeting"

 This is the historically significant set of field recordings recorded by Harry Smith of songs and narratives of a tribe that was fundamental in popularizing the Native American Church. Set includes original 12p. booklet featuring extensive notes. This is the only copy we have seen of this -- in any condition -- in more than 20 years in the record business.

Cover (box) shows only slight wear; please note the delicate paper "hinge" at left edge has apparently been deliberately cut to separate the two sections of the box; no wear, just neatly separated. Box also has split corners, upper and lower right. Records show some faint sleeve scuffing, also some light, and in some cases, faintly audible marks: overall VG+(+). On these terms, satisfaction is guaranteed.

Shipping charges for this set will be determined by destination after sale closes. We are always happy to combine multiple items to lower shipping costs. Optional insurance will be billed accordingly; we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged shipments that are not insured. Shipments are sent on Mondays and Thursdays. For anyone anxious about SHIPPING METHODS; our records are packed in a sleeve outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit, with a cardboard 'stiffener' to both protect the otherwise exposed record and to reinforce the package. We have been in the record business since 1987. We accept personal checks, VISA/MC, Paypal.
