Here for sale is an absolutely stunning, original UK 1st press, MONO, blue label Pye, of The Kinks' "The Village Green Preservation Society". 

I have never seen a copy of this album in such fantastic condition! It really is absolutely brilliant and has been very well looked after. Please Read On...

Cover: This gatefold cover is in EX+++++ Condition, just short of mint due to a small amount of handling ware which will be detailed here: There are 4 very very small creases on the spine area, and 2 or 3 small creases around the cover area as it is a very fragile, thin gatefold cover. A very small part of the laminate has come off right at the top of the cover which is really insignificant but needs to be mentioned. Also the top corner is slightly creased, but you really have to look hard to see these things. All the Edges are sharp and straight. The corners are very tight and straight! There is a minute amount of fraying along the top front flap, but I think this is natural from the cardboard, it's not possible to avoid this and probably happened even inside the factory. Non the less its very unnoticable and if kept in the firm plastic sleeve I will provide with this record, it will remain small and unnoticable.

Record: To be blunt, I have scanned each side of this record for about a minute and found 2 marks, NOT SCRATCHES, Very Light Scuff Marks.
1st mark: At some point, some gunk has got into the groove and has been moved around by the needle and has left a ring around  2mm wide on track 4 on side 2. hardly noticable, but you still need to know, I don't want to deceive anyone.
2nd Mark: An incredibly light scuff on side 1 at the top.
I have played this album all the way through 2 times on each side (Very carefully may I add!!) and there was not a single point of interference from either mark, and I mean NOTHING!!! So neither are deep or anything to worry about and would probably even clean off, but I'll leave this to for the new owner to attempt. This is an original 1st Press MONO L.P.

Labels: Just one word to say about the labels, PERFECT! There are about 2/3 spindle marks, each around 2mm long. Spent it's life in its cover by the sound of it, literally by the sound of it! A Truely fantastic album!

I cannot emphasis enough how fabulous this L.P. LOOKS as well as SOUNDS. The music is brilliant and I have NEVER seen a better condition copy. They just don't turn up like this anymore. With it being in Mono makes it even harder to come by! If there is a better copy, it probably isn't, and ever will be for sale. So you best grab this one whilst you still can!

The residue visible on the photographs is from the camera lense, NOT on the record itself!!!
