ORIGINAL, STUNNING VINYL and RECORD LABELS.
‘THE KINK KONTROVERSY’ was released by PYE Records UK in 1965.
The HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl LP is on the traditional PYE Records label Label, with ‘Made in England’and Recording First Published 1965 label Text.
Both sides of the PYE record labels are in BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT condition, with nothing more than a few light centre spider trails.
Both sides of the HEAVY WEIGHT vinyl disc are in STUNNING NEAR MINT condition, showing nothing more than a couple light surface hairlines, but no scuffs or deep scratches.
The side 1 matrix NPL 18131A-1S and Side 2 matrix is NPL 18131B-1S .
As expected the album plays as good as it looks through all of the 12 tracks with NO skips or clicks, a STUNNING 60s MONO sound.
The album comes in a PYE RECORDS advertising printed Inner Bag and is in EXCELLENT condition, there are NO seam splits and NO handwriting or tearing, just light age toning and light creasing.
And is housed in its ORIGINAL LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse Patents Pending three flip back sleeve.
The Sleeve is in RESPECTABLE excellent condition the Front panel shows only very mild record indentation and a couple of small handling marks, the reverse panel is CLEAN and BRIGHT, showing mild wear and age toning to the gate edge, the spine wording ‘THE KINK KONTROVERSY’ and PYE RECORDS NPL 18131 are clearly readable.
A SUPERB example of this RARE original Kinks album with a STUNNING vinyl LP and respectable sleeve.
