The Kinks - Are The Village Green Preservation Society RSLP 6327 (Reprise, US, 1968)
Stereo LP with two tone reprise labels, Gatefold Sleeve. Warner Brothers Reprise 10th anniversary sleeve. 6327 A(B) 1A matrixes
Condition (I Grade NM / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F)
Sleeve - (CONDITION) VG- Well, the previous owner wanted us to know it was his - so has written his name on the front, back and inside. Didn't really bother me - cause I'm more concerned about the music. Otherwise, quite tired but relatively solid.. There's ringwear - edge wear of the flaky kind (there a few holes in the top) Back gatefold (by sleeve opening) loose - but this could be repaired. Top gatefold has 2cm split from edge - again repairable. Spine not too bad, still legible. WB/R inner is split. I shall send the record in another inner.
Record - (CONDITION) VG+ Some surface marks and minor scratches - but nothing serious. Plays really well, but this copy does have some surface noise and crackle at times (though it could do with a thorough clean to get better results). A few clicks (two or three) here and there, but nothing untoward or too repetitious - and no skips or jumps.
Who wants this? Older copies is becoming harder and harder to find. The US copies are cheaper alternatives to the UKs, which are now going for megabucks! This is a good listening copy of the US 1st for a fan who is not so concerned about it's presentation.

- I remove records from their outer sleeves to avoid splitting. All records are packed in a plastic sleeve for extra protection.
