Hello and welcome to this auction for Kingdom Come, Arthur Brown, Galactic Zoo Dossier rare and original vinyl LP.

The LP has been test played through my JVC Linear Tracking system with flaws noted below.

In my opinion, “The audio quality is warm and full which is what I expect vinyl records of this age and condition to be, therefore the grading reflects this”.

On side 1, at the end of the last track "Sunrise", there is a skip (1 x rev).
On side 2, in the middle of track 1 "Trouble, there is a skip (1 x rev), also on this side from the beginning to the middle of the vinyl, ticks are more prominent.

Please note that this vinyl has not been professionally cleaned.

In response to a recent question dated 29/04/14 I would like to share this information with anyone considering bidding on this LP.

The question was about the vinyl condition where the record skips, asking if the cause was due to scratches or the record being in an unclean condition.

Thank you for your question about the vinyl.

There is evidence of light scratches on side 1 and 2, at the areas stated where the record skips and in other places also.

Under strong bright light the record appears to have been played often which has resulted in the scattered light scratches.

In my opinion the skips are caused by the scratches. But this can only be concluded by having the record professionally cleaned.

I do realize that this record is quite a rarity and with the condition stated I think the auction starting bid is fair.

Please also take into account that if you bid on this LP and win, but are not happy with it I will be happy to accept the return and I would refund the winning bid back but unfortunately not the cost of postage.

Please refer to the guide below for details on grading of the vinyl record on auction.

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.Records advertised as Sealed or Un played should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times,but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, dis colouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches,bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."

As well as the above grades, Near Mint is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.

In addition to the basic grading, any individual faultsshould be noted separately such as if an otherwise Excellent cover has a namewritten on it, or a 7" single is missing its original centre etc.
