Description

Gramophone-georg store

"Call Of The Freaks" and "The Trumpet's Prayer". 2/1/29. With Louis Metcalf, J.C. Higginbotham, Teddy Hill, Luis Russell, Paul Barbarin. Visual V to V+, plays V+ to E-. Dull, light scratches not affecting play. Few clicks, pops, hissy. King Joe is just waving his arms at the boys on this one, but it's definitely Oliver's band. You know this is a tough one. Some people think that reserves on V+ records are stupid. But, I promised myself that if it doesn't sell, I get to keep it- so please stay away. :-)
