Description

Offered here is a 1937 Royal Family picture record, including the current Queen Elizabeth, her sister and parents. The other side includes a recitation by John Gielgud of Shakespeare excerpts , issued as a fund raiser for a charity of the King. Recorded by HMV with a bit of the common HMV crackle. The record looks unplayed. There is a sticker on one side of the record. Its the type that you lick to stick on. I have quite a few records from the same collection with this same sticker. I have been able to remove them easily with a small paint brush and water. However, all labels are different and I don't want to risk it here.   I have decided to sell of some spoken word recordings; some listed today and the rest tomorrow. I have played all of them all the way through using truncated elliptical stylii from Expert Stylus.
