Description
This is an original, near mint condition King Crimson promotional LP "The Return Of King Crimson". It was issued by Warner Brothers Records U.S. in 1981 as part of the label's "Warner Bros. Music Show" series. It was distributed to radio stations, the music press and selected music industry V.I.P.s. It was never made available to the general public. The album features a rare interview with Robert Fripp conducted by Vic Garbarini from Musician, Player and Listener magazine. The topics covered include Fripp's work with David Bowie, Brian Eno, Blondie and the Roches, the future of King Crimson; the concept of "Discipline" and much more. King Crimson music is also featured. It comes in a red cardboard Warner Brothers Music Show promotional sleeve. There is a black & white sticker on the front of the sleeve giving details about the album's content. The album has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1981. As this promotional album was pressed in very limited quanties, it is a highly sought after item among King Crimson/Robert Fripp collectors around the world.
