KING CRIMSON - 'LIZARD'
1970 UK 1st PRESSING LP
This superb NEAR MINT UK 1st pressing of their 1970 album is on the 'pink-rimmed' Island label: ILPS 9141.
The disc is housed in an outer laminated, heavy card 'Ernest J. Day Group' printed gatefold cover.
Complete with its original blue poly-lined Island inner-sleeve.

A clean & totally unblemished pair with just two faint spindle trails to the side 1 centre hole only.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine playing surfaces which are totally unmarked & as new when viewed closely in strong daylight. Careful examination directly beneath halogen light reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shines and a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines.
Play: NEAR MINT
This barely played copy sounds superb with no evidence of any groove/play wear or backgorund noise any where. In fact, apart from a few light ticks at the end of the final track on side 1 & two light 'pops' mid-way through side 2, there is little else to fault here.

NEAR MINT
A wonderful example of this lavish cover with an immaculate, unscratched and undamaged high-gloss laminate all-round. There is no creasing or any 'thumbnails' to any part. All corners are sharp, unbumped & unbruised and the inside of the gatefold is pristine. All seams and the fully laminated & perfectly worded spine are unworn & undamaged.

Bright & clean with slight rippling but no writing, seam splits or tears.
