Description

This is a 1st pressing of King Crimson's 'Larks' Tongues In Aspic', their 5th studio album; noted as key to the band's continuing evolution (drawing on European free improv and Eastern European classical influences). Potentially part of the very first press, as is missing the "All songs published by E.G. Music Ltd © 1973" commonly found on other initial versions.
Side A runout is stamped ILPS-9230 A-2U, etched SARK Side B runout is stamped ILPS-9230 B-2U (etched L?)
The front and rear cover are remarkably clean for a cream coloured LP, but it's been graded VG+ due edge marking and some minor corner marks (see pictures), however the vinyl has been graded a conservative EX due to visible runout scratching from play, very little marking on the actual playing surface at all.
