Description
King Crimson – LIZARD -1970-1ST UK PRESS -Pink rim palm tree -EX - ILPS-9141 misprint on the sleeve
Released in a outside laminated gatefold cover. Note, that the front and back of the sleeve are laminated, but the inside is not.
This LP has "Pink rim palm tree" labels. Wide spine with inverted text.
This first pressing has "℗ 1970" on center right of both labels.
There is a misprint on the sleeve:
The spine text is inverted; normally the text on record sleeve spines reads from the top to the bottom. This one begins at the bottom.
This was a mistake in the early production process of the first pressing and was quickly changed. The inverted spine-text sleeve can be an indicator of an early, first UK pressing.
Vinyl - VG++/EX (excellent) There are a few light (non-sounding) marks but it has been well preserved. Very minimal lessening in sound quality. Plays Very Nice
The labels are Excellent - NO spindle marks and NO writing Very Clean
Very little surface noise or pops
