King Crimson: Islands ISLAND ILPS 9175 UK
One of the rarest Cimson albums to find in TOP condition..
Original first pressd copy with flip-back sleeve and the single inner sleeve ( has few small browning spots and small creases, otherwise NO tears, writing or any other damages..)..
cover: un-laminated single-sleeve flip-back cover, clean MINT-/EX++ top condition ( I’m really tempted to use the magic word of „STUNNING” except I don’t believe in it..) with few light creases on the top R of the front,otherwise pretty much AS NEAR NEW….the flip-back parts are perfect,as new .…the spine is PERFECT without any wear and so are the top and bottom edges….opening edges are nice,straight and clean without any wear at all....no rips,tears,splits or any other damages....
record,visual: both sides are superb clean jet-black and shiny EX++ with VERY light superficial and harmless surface lines due to being stored in a plain paper inner sleeve all the time ….it still retains it’s beautiful original sheen and it looks VERY NEAR NEW
record,audio: I PLAYED THE ENTIRE RECORD FROM START TO END-THE AUDIO IS GREAT WITH CRYSTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT SOUND WITHOUT ANY SINGS OF GROOVEWEAR,WITH GREAT DELIVERY AND STEREO IMAGE… NO LOUD POPS/CLICKS, MINIMAL AMOUNT BACKGROUND NOISE ON THE TRACK „ISLANDS” BUT LET ME STRESS AGAIN, REALLY MINIMAL …THIS COPY HAS BEEN SITTING IN STORAGE FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS SO A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING JOB WOULD MOST LIKELY IMPROVE THE SOUND AND GET RID OF MOST OF THE BACKGROUND NOISE ..
labels: AS CLEAN AS IT COULD BE with few light spindle hole marks …ILPS 9175 A-1U and ILPS 9175 B-1U matrix numbers with very early 1 GA and 1 P mother stampers, VERY FIRST pressing… no tears,stamps or any other damages...
Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT..I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PLAY EVERY SINGLE RECORD FROM START TO END ( WHO DOES ? ) - HOWEVER,I TESTPLAY SKIPPING THROUGH TRACKS ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK QUALITY.
IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THAT YOU SHOULD BE UNHAPPY WITH MY GRADING/DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-I’M SURE THAT WE CAN CLEAR OUT EVERY PROBLEM IN A KIND WAY!
