Description
This is part of a big auction of blues and R&B 7" records. There are many King and Chess records here with several "bonus" listings and a handful of rarities. Keep an eye out for a large Specialty Records auction in a couple of weeks then an oddball auction of mainly 60's rock 'n roll, many with picture sleeves.

Release: The Checkers - House With No Windows / Don't Stop Dan
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1954
Notes: Blue label first pressing. Earlier single by this group who really only released a handful of singles in their career. A-side is a bluesy, brooding track. B-side is more of a doo-wop style track, again with some pretty racy lyrics for the day.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny surface scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss, with no tearing/stickers. This is a great copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: G+, has some light wrinkles and a small number in the corner, and a fully split left side. Displays pretty well despite the wear.
