Description

This is part of a large auction featuring Vee-Jay/King/Federal labels. Lots of cool blues, R&B and doo-wop here, with some bonus listings as always. Check back in a couple of weeks for a small label R&B auction.

Release: Moose Jackson And His Buffalo Bearcats - Bootsie / (Let Me Love You) All Night Long

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1952


Notes: Blue label first pressing. Early single, but later in the career of this jump blues group that recorded exclusively for King in the late 40's to mid 50's. A-side is a very R&B instrumental with great sax and piano work.  B-side is almost a jazz vocal with a great little sax interlude.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are super-clean with no tears/stickers/writing. This is a top notch copy overall.


Sleeve Condition: VG, original company sleeve. Has some wrinkling, but no tears/splits or writing. Small pencil number in the corner.
