Description

 Up for auction is a great reverb Surf 45 on the Private Wickwire Label by "Dave Myers and his Surftones". This is a great 2-sided Surf 45 with killer guitar, back is a great version of the classic, "Let the good times roll". 1964 original! A side is titled "GEAR" and it is. Wickwire Records 13008. Vinyl is Very Good. Has light surface scratches but Plays through with only some minor noise here and there. Labels are good just a little dirty. Side A has the name "Carl" written with a pencil. "Dave Myers and his Surftones were a Southern California surf group. The Surftones were from Laguna Beach. The majority of the group had majored in music at college. Myers himself was a multi-instrumentalist. As well as playing guitar, he played steel guitar, tenor sax, trumpet and bongos.   Dave Myers and his group as well as another group called the Rhythm Rockers were regulars at the Rendezvous Ballroom in Balboa, California. They became the house band at the venue, having taken over from Dick Dale and his band. SEE PHOTOS. ASK QUESTIONS.
