isnw_ec From the world's number one source for rare and hard to find Arizona desert platters, a Killer Doo Wop R&B Mod Frat Dancer 45 by BROTHER ZEE And The Decades titled "SHA-BOOM-BANG" b/w "SMOKEY THE BEAR" on RAMCO # 3725 stock pressing. Produced by Jim Musil at Audio Recorders of Arizona in 1963 this EARLY 60'S ARIZONA MAD MIKE - SURFIN' BIRD STYLE VOCAL GROUP R&B STOMPER THAT ALWAYS PACKS THE DANCE FLOOR. Condition: Vinyl visually VG+(+) (with light sleeve scuffs). Plays great. Labels are VG+ smudges, with small red ink on one side. See scans. And now some more history...Bro. Z. was Bob Zodis (died: 9/24/03), with Al Linde & Charles Buford. This group featured three members of the Vice-Roys (Ramco 3715), who had broken up after they were discharged from the Air Force at Luke AFB. Backed by The Mike Metko Combo: Vern Parker on lead guitar, Mike Metko-sax, Billy Caldwell-bass,Gilbert Bernal-drums. The record was recorded at Audio Recorders Of Arizona on 6/27/63 and pressed (500) at Wakefield Manufacturing in Phoenix, in August of 1963, Wakefield house # sjw 5316.
