Description
Here for auction: Kertesz conductiing Dvorak: SXL 2289 ED1 "original recording by" label's.Original gatefold cover 2E/1E matrix.
I have checked many parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality, and hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in near EX condition. Looks pretty clean overall but up close there are some hairline type marks which look as though they could produce some tics.When testing the disc I heard about 12 repetetive tics and then a further 10 or so near the start of side 2. I think this visible mark actually gives tics for just over a minute but was masked some of the time because music is loud in this section.
Also there was some crackle in the short quiet part at start of side one. But otherwise the record played really well with nice clear sound and little or no surface noise.The beautiful slow second movement sounded as it should,whiich is good test to the vinyl's quality.
Cover is VG+ condition. Still ok but has browning (discolouration) around the edges.And some creasing.Also has an inscription in ink inside of cover (seen in photo).
Label's. EX Have spindle marks but not that many.Otherwise free of marks or blemishes.
Original FFSS inner sleeve is EX.
