Description
This auction if for a vintage Loggins & Messina vinyl LP I’ve had in my collection since the early 70’s- I had a roommate named “Patti” back then and can only assume that I ended up with this record through her somehow-I know she was a big fan of the band back then and it looks like she was able to get most, if not all, of the original band members to sign their names on the back of this album cover (5 total signatures) I have not had these signatures authenticated, but they look pretty darn real (original) to me.
Of course, I’m no expert so these should be judged as a “novelty” or “amusement” for fun-Or, you can probably have them properly authenticated for a fee- I'm too cheap to do that :)
The vinyl itself is in VG+ shape, looks lightly played with a few light scuffs-The side 1 matrix runout has: PAL 31044 1E; side 2 has: PBL 31044 1B The cover is just VG with usual edge/shelf/ring wear-generic inner sleeve
The back cover shows the autographs pretty legibly, but there are some light “party stains”..intermixed..must have been a good time :)
The autographs of the band members are as follows, left to right, “Larry Sims”; “Jim Messina”; “Jon Clarke”; “Kenny Loggins” and “Merl Bregante”
Let me know if I can supply any more info or pictures and happy bidding!
