Description
Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Una Mas," by Kenny Dorham, featuring Herbie Hancock, Butch Warren, Joe Hernderson, and Anthony Williams. See pictures for song list. This was released by Blue Note Records (BLP 4127). LP is VG+, with light scuffs and several small light scratches on either side. LP plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle, tics, and pops) with no skips. LP retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. Interior labels have "New York USA" in the address. There is an etched ear and "Van Gelder" is stamped in the matrix on either side. This LP still sounds great - this is a really nice copy of this original LP! Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is one small area on the bottom seam where the glossy top layer has chipped off, but this is a tiny surface layer abrasion and does not penetrate through the remainder of the seam (see pictures). All corners show wear. There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. There is a couple of wrinkles in the gloss on the front of the jacket (one of these wrinkles extends across the entire jacket). The gloss has started on peel along the lip of the jacket. Throughout the month of December I will be listing more extremely rare, hard to find titles in very nice shape - from the estate of a serious collector.
