Description
You’re bidding on an original mono 1963 vinyl pressing of Kenny Burrell’s Midnight Blue BLP 4123 on Blue Note. It has the Van Gelder stamp, Ear on both sides and “NY” labels. The vinyl looks somewhere between VG- and G+. It has a number of scuffs but no deep scratches. Side 2 looks VG- and plays better than Side 1. Both sides play with a crackle but no skips on my turntable. The music is dynamic and without obvious distortion. It you’re lucky enough for to have a mono switch on your amp, you can get rid of much of the crackle (I tried it and it made a big difference). See photos of cover.
