Ken Parker – ‘How Could I’ / Sonny Burke ‘Choo-Choo Train’ – Island 3082 (UK)
Two beautiful Bunny Lee-produced rocksteady sides, in their preferred format, back-to-back on a 1967 UK Island single. Two superb tunes, easily as good as anything released on Caltone at around this time, and very rarely seen in this condition.Condition: Excellent. A lovely copy; a couple of inaudible scuffs and a little dust, that’s all (please listen to the sound clips). Clean labels save for the name “Niki” in ballpoint on the Ken Parker side. The four-pronged centre is intact (please see scans).
Please note that the slight hum on some of my sound clips comes from my record player’s shaky Earth connection, it is not inherent in the discs.
