Description
Original 1985 first pressing of Keith Whitley’s debut full-length album, L.A. To Miami (RCA Victor, catalog CPL1-7043). This is the sought-after 8-track configuration — distinguishable from the later 10-track reissue (AEL1-5870): this pressing runs 8 songs, omits “Homecoming ‘63” and “Quittin’ Time,” and includes “I Wonder Where You Are Tonight.” Includes the hits “Miami, My Amy,” “Ten Feet Away,” and “Nobody in His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her.”
Vinyl is in near mint shape — appears barely, if ever, played, with no visible marks under bright light, and still housed in its original RCA paper inner sleeve. Plays clean.
Jacket is solid with general wear (please see photos). Front cover is hand-marked “KRTZ” in the corner — the call letters of KRTZ 98.7 FM, Cortez, Colorado, a Four Corners–area station on the air since 1981. Adds a bit of radio-library character.
Ships securely: vinyl removed from jacket to prevent seam stress, in a rigid mailer with inner and outer protection.
