Description
As rare as hen's teeth, The Keith Tippett Group: Dedicated To You, But You Weren't Listening first U.K. Vertigo large swirl pressing (cat no 6360 024). I grade all my records as per the strict guidelines used by the Record Collector magazine and would grade this as very good+ (''The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable''). The record exhibits quite a few non serious hairlines to both sides plus two slightly heavier but not at all deeper scratches to side A. Playback is fantastic with just a little ''crackling'' at start and end of sides plus an occasional ''pop'' here and there and some unobtrusive ''ticks'' in places. Still an excellent listen.
Both labels remain in nice condition with no writing upon them. The original Vertigo swirl inner is missing.
The non-laminated gate-fold sleeve exhibits typical edge & corner wear but no rips or tears. There is a horrible HMV price sticker evident to the top right hand corner of the jacket.
