For sale is this extremely scarce vintage LP of KEITH CROSS & PETER ROSS - BORED CIVILIANS on the Decca label 1972. This is a genuine 1972 1st and only UK Stereo Pressing of this cult collector's disc. This lovely copy has a matt sleeve, original lined Decca inner sleeve and blue Decca labels to the disc. The catalogue number is SKL 5129. The weight of the disc is precisely 150g. The matrices in full are:
Side One:     ZAL-11350.P-2W     Side Two:     ZAL-11351.P-2W
Condition*:
Because of the value of this record I'm erring on the very conservative side with the gradings.
Sleeve: The sleeve is cautiously graded VG. It has a matt/unlaminated finish which has light wear and signs of handling. There is some wear to the edges, heavier wear to the spine. There is minor bruising to the corners. There is a visible impression of the disc on both sides. There is a small corner crease noticeable rear top right. There are a number of surface marks that I have attempted to picture. There is a small, quite faint mark of ownership on the back top centre (pictured). Overall a nice enough example of this wonderful sleeve.
Disc: The disc is conservatively graded VG+. In normal light it looks close to immaculate - very dark and lustrous. Under strong sunlight there are a fair number of light surface marks and hairlines. There is nothing serious, no deep scratches or scuffs and nothing to intrude unduly into the audio. The labels are excellent with some spindle wear and a small mark of former ownership (pictured). This record has been played through from start to finish both on speakers and headphones and plays without fault. There is some low crackle and the odd quiet pop but all well within acceptable levels to my ear. There are no intrusive clicks or ticking and no skips. Overall a really good playing copy of this magical record that I recommend very highly.
