Description
Very rare WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING LP of Dutch prog rock band Kayak's 1974 2nd album mostly referred to as "Kayak 2" or sometimes "Alibi"
On Harvest EMI label UK - catalogue number on picture sleeve SHSP 4036 stereo
The vinyl is immaculate with white plain labels housed in a plain inner sleeve with 'Kayak' printed on the dust cover and presented in an outer picture sleeve
The picture sleeve has been secured with tape at both top and bottom edges and has tony corner wear evident but has no rips, tears or edge scuffing and no obvious scuffing or wear to the front or back picture covers. It has a small sticker from the original purchse with 'white label test pressing' written on the sticker by the record store owner.
The vinyl within is MINT, I have the early Kayak stuff on other formats but I have inly played-checked this otherwise it has been kept pristine.
A great rare collectable of a lesser known prog band from The Netherlands who made a distinctive sophisticated poppy edged mark on the genre....recommended for fans of both symphonic prog and Todd Rundgren.
Best of luck!
