Kate Smith Show - November 24, 1938 Thanksgiving

Side with God Bless America starts with musical intro to God Bless America, then drum roll then Kate announces “On this Thanksgiving day, my feelings for the past and hopes for the future are expressed in the song which I introduced two weeks ago, and which I sing again now, Irving Berlin’s new number, God Bless America.”  Then the entire song is played and sung followed by audience applause.
