Description
Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance (2006 rare Red Vinyl double LP). Condition is New. Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class.
Original 2006 Gatefold 2LP RED Vinyl with printed inner sleeves. Peaceville first press issue limited to 2000 numbered copies (this copy #1334). VILELP128
PHOTOS - The front & rear sleeves plus the spine are of the copy for sale, the inner gatefold & vinyl pics are from my own opened copy to show whats inside the shrink wrapped copy. Due to the reflective nature of shrink-wrap the front cover shows the reflection of my ceiling light, it's not bad ring wear!
Direct Metal Mastered
The Great Cold Distance is the seventh full-length album by Swedish metal band ‘Katatonia’ released on 13 March 2006. This is the original double red vinyl (with a slightly marbled effect when held up to the light).
This edition was sent to distributors both shrink-wrapped & sometimes unshrink-wrapped but in a thick PVC protective sleeve with fold over flap, each had a silver Peaceville hype sticker on the front of the PVC sleeve or the shrink-wrap & sticker showing the number of that particular copy on the rear of actual sleeve. THIS IS A SHRINKWRAPPED COPY.
Condition
New or used? - eBay insists a choice between 'new' or 'used', I've chosen new because it is unplayed, never been out of it's shrink, it's new, it never even made it to a shop, it's a copy I got from the distributors warehouse.
PLEASE NOTE - I would like to say it’s a mint copy but clearly when a box of these was opened at the distributor, the box was opened with a blade which has just caught the shrink & the centre of the album title on the spine (Please look at the spine photo). I thought about carefully repairing it but I’ll leave that decision to the buyer of this copy. Other than that it’s a mint, still sealed copy.
