Karl Berger (with Carlos Ward, Henry Grimes, Ed Blackwell) [self titled] ESP 1041, recorded 1966. Label is Berger’s face in profile on both sides. Black ink on white. Front cover is matte finish. Classic. Disc plays NM. A-side has what looks like a very soft, broad scuff that is audible at a very faint low level through the last few minutes of the side. Jacket is unprecedentedly crisp and clean: Mint! nothing nothing nothing.

Here’s the sixth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
