Description
Kannibal Komix German Italo Psych Very Rare 1970 "Kannibal Komix" Original Canadian pressing Polydor 236 0069
- Cardboard & slick album construction, 1960s style. Original pressing
- Thick heavy vinyl and thick heavy cardboard cover
- A German band, Kannibal Komix included an italian member (Jurgen Drews, Gerd Muller and Bernd
Scheffler were German, bass player Enrico Lombardi was from Piacenza), and had some notoriety
following an appearance in german and english TV shows. Their Lp Kannibal Komix was released in
1968 in Germany, and later, in 1970 in the USA and Canada. It was chosen by the US filmmaker George Moorse as soundtrack for his film "The House In White". Housed in a distinctive cover (with a nude woman riding a horse), the Lp is still influenced by a late 60's UK psych/pop style, with 12 tracks, and has no connections at all with the italian 70's progressive style. The band's guitarist and bass player were exceptional. The album has lots of fuzz guitar freak out solos. Superb and super hard to find example of the psych genre - As far as we know, this album has NEVER been available on legitimate Compact Disc or in any other way, manner or format.

7. I live in Canada but close enough to the USA border to mail to USA destinations and overseas from the USA, to take advantage of Media rate in USA and lower costs to mail overseas. It is very difficult and expensive to go over the border for just one or two items: I incur gas expense and fees for crossing the border for commercial purposes. The fewer the trips I have to make the better, which is why prompt payment is so much appreciated...............
