Overview
This listing is for a pre-owned copy of Kankyō Ongaku (Japanese Ambient, Environmental & New Age Music 1980 - 1990).
It is the fully licensed remaster collection produced by Light in the Attic records in 2019.
It is the 3 LP, black vinyl version, and features two vinyl exclusive tracks; A4 and C2. It comes complete with its original deluxe jackets and slipcase, soft inner sleeves, and liner notes and artist bios booklet.
Condition
The records are very good plus condition with a couple notes: There is a striation on C2, and a similar spot between tracks B1 and B2. These are a little hard to catch in the light; but the detail photos for sides B & C should give you an idea. While these could be scratches, I don't think they are. I've only played the records once after taking the shrink wrap off, and these were already there. And these passages sound fine to me. But still good to note for appearance.
The soft inner sleeves have some minor bends to the surface from normal use. These are, without a doubt, the best inner sleeves I've ever seen. They are soft, satin and clear, but sturdy. Whoever made the call at LITA to use them, really cares about the craft.
The cardboard sleeves for each record are in very good condition. They each have some scratches to the front and back from taking them out repeatedly to display.
The liner notes have couple minor bends on the surface of the outer cover.
The cardboard case has some edge wear, and a couple dings and scratches, which you can see in the photos.
In my opinion, this is the best pressing of this kind of music. And the most beautiful packaging I've ever held; with attention to detail, right down to the inner sleeves. A work of art, even before you listen to it.
