Description

Artist : Kalyanji Anandji

Title :  Don

Label : EMI, India, 1978

Condition : Cover/Vinyl : VG+/VG+

Oh what a movie and killer soundtrack ! Undoubtedly one of the best Bollywood flicks fom the 70’s and one of the most aesthetic. The plot has something of an American gangster movie, very Blaxploitation…

Check the cover! The music is devastating,  Moog synthesizer, wah wah, funky bass & groovy beats.

The percussionist Babla, Kalyanji & Anandji’s young brother whose instrumental work is highly appreciated among collectors, was deeply involved in the background music of this film.. “Yeh mera dil “  has also been sampled by Black Eyed Peas

RARE & HARD TO GET ! A BOLLYWOOD MUST !
