Originally released in Mexico, 1969. Numbered edition of 500 pressed on 180 gram vinyl, housed in a heavy sleeve with a poster and 4-page insert containing an extra poster. Kaleidoscope is one of the best psychedelic albums ever been recorded and among the other 2 rare albums (Mariani from USA and Dark from UK) perhaps the rarest. Enrique Rivas located all original members as well as the original artist on the cover. Shadoks Music signed a deal with the band, so we can put this baby out for the first time legit. Actually this band was not from Mexico. The musicians came from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Spain and the album was recorded in 1967 in Dominican Republic. The manager took it to Mexico where it had a tiny release of 200 on the Orfeon label. They were friends of Addib Casta from Ladies WC, Venezuela, so one song is from Ladies WC; the rest are all original compositions. A collector's dream come true. The music is amazing heavy guitar-based psychedelic of the best kind, the cover artwork restored and complete (bo*tlegs were heavily cropped) with original label artwork for the first time, plus many photos, band history, 2 posters. 'This is a highly-regarded Mexican garage-psych album. Originally only 200 copies were pressed, back in 1969. This was probably the result of a one-off deal with Orfeon to see if the Mexican public could latch on to the new sounds. Unfortunately, they didn't, so the record was never pressed at the time in large quantities. Thanks to its recent limited edition reissue, you can hear this album again in all its glory without taking out a second mortgage and you shouldn't be disappointed. All the lyrics are in English. The best tracks are Hang Out, a garage-punker with a fine organ intro and some sound effects; P.S. Come Back, an up-tempo, organ-led, garage-punker; Let Me Try, featuring more great garage organ which builds into a climax;Colours, (possibly its magnum opus) with superb whispered vocals, guitar/organ interplay and sound effects and the lengthier Once Upon A Time There Was A World, which features longer periods of guitar/organ interplay and a (spoken) vocal style similar to California's Maze. (EX-) EXELLENT- = VINYL looks as good as new, however may have a mark not to effect sound. COVER looks nearlt perfect hyas slight age/use marks with additional slight wear-barley seen.

( VG+ ) VERY GOOD PLUS = VINYL may have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly,with only barely detectable crackles or pops;a slight noise at the begining is allowable. COVER may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

( VG ) VERY GOOD = VINYL may crackle,pop or make other annoying noises,but only occasionally,and no more loudly than the music. COVER has normal wear such a ring wear and split seams.

( G ) GOOD  = VINYL may have continuous crackles,pops,but not so loud as to make the music unenjoyable. COVER has more than normal wear and tear.

( P ) POOR = VINYL is cracked,badly warped,and won't play through without skipping or repeating. COVER barely keeps the lp inside.
