'AN INVISIBLE WORLD REVEALED'
on the original UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS UAS 29 250 1 from 1971
This is a rare collectible, especially in this condition, and on this ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE lable!
Considered by most as their greatest and most imaginative recording, they are too determined and well-structured as a band here to be called 'experimental'. Complexity of arrangements make it an album to really relish and get further into with each listen - while the cohesion of the music and playing is excellent, so it's certainly worthwhile to know....not avant-garde or jazzy, top notch PROGRESSIVE PSYCH in every respect.
Anyone who likes Krautrock, collectors of the better 'green BRAIN' lable releases, will appreciate this is among the best! I'd rank it alongside the first Kraan, Scorpions, and Electric Sandwich albums - some would place it at the top of that esteemed list, indeed.
! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL ISSUE !
Not a repro, mastered from digital sources, or a pale reflection in 'cleansed' sound quality - it's the 1971 grooves in vivid dimensions of WONDERFUL heavy sound!!
A cleaner copy will be tough to find too - best not to miss this opportunity if you'll take my advice.
The vinyl is clean EX and with full shine.
There are two thin scuff lines, on each side, but short and light and NOT into the grooves - so these cannot affect play and I can guarantee it. The disc plays superbly, as 40 years ago, and a really delightful full sound without problems of any kind. TOP quality!!
The gatefold cover is also EX. The thin soft card is remarkably well kept, the slightest wear on edges from storage only. Inside there is a faint cataloging stamp, otherwise this too is in the best shape. GREAT!!
The lables are clean with few light spindle marks only - and a same light file stamp to side 1.
