KPM 1156 LP Metropolis BRIAN BENNETT DAVID LINDUP LAURIE JOHNSON DICK DOERSCHUCK Keith Mansfield library orig vinyl, 1975, oop rare! ex shape glossy lp, vg cover has water warp. soul jazz funk synth soundtracks etc. The record jacket is light stock, laminated, glossy front, like many of the English imports. The serial number is written in black marker on the upper left back. There is also a license sticker on the back that is blacked out in some areas. The jacket is rippled and creased on both front and back. The bottom right corner is creased about an inch in. Wear and staining noted in white border. The back white area show age staining and ring wear. There is a ½” tear bottom left corner. There are also light creases in areas. The record labels are in excellent condition. Visually inspected under a bright light, the record is in excellent condition, showing only light marks of the dust sleeve variety.

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.

Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
