KOSOKUYA Cassettes Jap Psych JUTOK KANEKO RARE!

Two extremely rare and now unavailable Kosokuya cassettes released in 1996 on La Music Records run by Nanjo Asahito of High Rise, Musica Transonic and a host of other amazing Japanese underground releases (both playing on and responsible for the release of that is!) Live and studio recordings from 1982! featuring Jutok Kaneko on guitar, Nanjo Asahito on bass, Mick on vocals and Narita (ex-High Rise) on drums. A real one-off dream team line-up here, super heavy. Includes a hand-written note from Nanjo Asahito describing the rarity of the cassettes!

Both cassettes come packaged in black and white glossy print covers - these are originals, not dubs or boots. Truly punk rock underground DIY production at its finest, what happened to cassette releases like this anyway?! (oh yeah . . . homemade CDs . . .) The recordings on these cassettes aren't available elsewhere at all. These are rare as hell, I wouldn't expect to ever see these for sale again. Although Nanjo advertised hundreds of mouth-watering titles as being available from him mail order, most actually never existed and very few people got their hands on them, these copies were only available direct from Nanjo on the first UK Musica Transonic tour in 1996. You can bet yr ass that probably even Kosokuya themselves have yet to hear these. An amazing piece of Japanese underground heavy psychedelic history! Both cassettes detailed below.

Kosokuya-Death Trip Night (live)
La Musica Records LA-110

CONDITION
Cassette: Near Mint Sleeve: EX+/EX (all of these cassettes have EX+ front covers, put together in the old DIY style of having part of the cassette cover hang out of the back of the cassette case, so the part of the cover that hangs out has slight creasing, unfortunately unavoidable, but it adds to its underground hand-done charm!)

Kosokuya-Death Trip Night (studio)
La Musica Records LA-111

Recorded at Rehearsal Studio May 1982.
