presents a very rare LP by
KOMMISSAR HJULER UND FRAU/MAMA BÄR
"Deutschland zur See"
(SHMF-084), lim. 11 copies, this is no. 10/11, handmade covers,a booklet with the text we are reading.
The music is purest fluxus with text sounds/spoken words/sound poetry, I cannot really describe it, to give you the right impression, it is really weird! We read a text on the maritime politics of Kaiser Wilhelm II (!!!), his navy fleet, all the naval formations in 1914, distortions and tapes, collages and backward sounds make this reading become an interesting sound project
If you collect any other fluxus artists, this is obviously a must for you! This is really an interesting LP and art object! The text is from a book my grandfather was given by Kaiser Wilhelm II, when my grandfather was at school, at 27th Jan. 1916, given to Obersecundaner Franz Hjuler! My grandfather was a genius at school, so he got the book as a present. A photocopy from the dedication you will find on the backside of the cover. Cover is handsigned and numberes by Kommissar Hjuler. An obscure work!
It apperas as a handcut 10inch, but not as an Acetate, a real handcut vinyl! The technique from Acetates is used for vinyl plates, so that the information will not get lost when playing and the sound is much better, nearly as good as a pressed LP, only very few surface sounds sometimes.
It is very expensive for us to let our LPs become handcut by a tiny factory at Germany, but this makes it possible to provide any vinyl releases that limited! Imagine an LP of less than 27, 18, 14 or 11 copies! This is pure fluxus art! All our covers are handmade, some are unique objects. So you are bidding for an art object, not only a LP!
