Near mint vinyl found in the collections of W. R. Reardon, a fastidious record aficionado. Vinyl has no scratches, scuffs, or spindle hole wear. Extremely minor label wear around spindle hole (see photos). Jacket, not in shrink wrap, has no cut outs, punch holes, ring, edge, or corner wear. No splits, tears or writing on jacket. Koko Taylor, sometimes spelled KoKo Taylor (September 28, 1928 – June 3, 2009), was an American Chicago blues singer, whose style also encompassed many genres including electric blues, rhythm and blues and blues and soul blues popularly she was known as the "Queen of the Blues." She was known primarily for her rough, powerful vocals and traditional blues stylings. She recorded nine albums for Alligator, 8 of which were Grammy-nominated, and came to dominate the female blues singer ranks, winning twenty five W. C. Handy Awards (more than any other artist).
