... rare first press 5LP box set on maroon/silver Philips label recorded in "Hi-Fi Stereo" - famous reference performance!
rare German/Dutch first press vinyl 5LP box set released 1962 on dark maroon/silver PHILIPS stereo label "Made in Holland" with catalognumber 835 220/24-AY. The box with "HI-FI STEREO" logo complete with libretto booklet, all original innersleeves (two for each record) and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - perfect! Best copy I have seen in many years... Famous reference performance by Hans Knappertsbusch at the Bayreuth Festival 1962 conducting the Bayreuth Festival orchestra and chorus. Soloists are Jess Thomas, George London, Hans Hotter, Gustav Neidlinger, Irene Dalis, Martti Talvela and chorusmaster Wilhelm Pitz ... fantastic set recorded with true audiophile soundquality... see photo.
