Description

Full set of these singles. Bought new by me back in 1997. Still in original Kalevala envelope. I don't recall ever playing them so expect excellent / mint condition . They would probably fetch more sold individually but for ease I have decided to sell them as a full set. One of the covers has a tiny tear as shown.

Profile:
Finnish label invented by Bill Drummond and Mark Manning to release a series of 7" singles inspired by their novel Bad Wisdom. Failing to find any real Lapp punk or Arctic soul acts like the ones they described in the book, Bill & Z invented the acts and hired musicians and singers in Helsinki to record the songs.

Only six singles were released, limited to 500 copies each. The tracks came from the unreleased Bad Wisdom soundtrack album, Huono Viisaus, which also included a cover of Immigrant Song by ice bikers Molten Rock and songs by Kristina Bruuk and Gormenghast.
