Description
This auction is for a NM+ nearly FLAWLESS copy of "Dressed To Kill", the 1975 album by KISS on Casablanca Records (NBLP 7016). This is an original 1975 edition with the blue Casablance labels that denote that this is indeed a 1st pressing. This is by FAR the best copy of this LP that you are ever likely to come across. I was browsing around ebay and other auction sites today, and even found actual sealed copies that looked sub-par compared to this one. The full description has been added below, but unless you are a true KISS enthusiast, and a SERIOUS collector, it may not mean much to you. This auction is only for the most devoted KISS fan who will be able to appreciate what a truly rare item is being auctioned here in such a pristine condition. Only TRUE collectors need apply!!!
The Cover:
First off, this is the original first pressing embossed cover from 1975. This is NOT a reprint, reissue, bootleg, etc. It is actually very hard to believe that this is an original 1st pressing due to the immaculate condition. The pictures I have taken of this LP simply do not do it justice. Although these pictures have not been altered or photo-shopped in any way, the album jacket you are about to purchase is even better than what you see. When I say "nearly flawless" I mean it. The "nearly" part only comes from some extremely slight ringwear like symptoms that have only materialized from this album being stored between other records. This is not the type of ringwear that creates any white "spotting" or any discoloration of the jacket for that matter. It simply means that an extremely light outline of the vinyl is seen when scrutinizing this specimen under bright light. I almost hesitate to point it out, considering how superficial it is, but considering that I listed this as NM I feel the need to point out the ONE thing that could possibly describe this artifact as anything other than "mint". Other than this almost un-noticeable item, you will find this album jacket to be the cleanest, shinyest, glossiest, most error-free cover that you have ever seen on ANY record.
Although this is NOT a reissue or reprint, you will absolutely feel like you are holding one once you receive this copy because it is VERY hard to believe that a 33 year old album could have possibly been preserved as much as this one has. Aside from the very minor "ringing" (and I stress minor) there isn't anything you could find on this LP that would make it seem like anything other than a brand new copy. Even though there are only a few real "colors" (meaning black, white, and grey), they still remain as sharp and vibrant as they were as the day this jacket came off the press! It still almost seems "3-D" when you view the cover photograph in contrast with embossed "KISS" logos surrounding it, and the same goes for the back cover where the "photo negative" effect has not lost a single bit of its whiteness due to any sort of fading or yellowing. This is the real deal, folks. Your ONE chance to own this album in a state that represents how it would appear if you had purchased it straight off of the shelf 33 years ago.

The Vinyl:
As you can easily figure out from my numerous amount of positive feedback from my clients, I only offer the most immaculate records available. This record is certainly no exception, and actually goes above and beyond. This particular record is most likely the most pristine, perfect vinyl that I have ever offered. This LP is perfect in every regard. Unplayed, thus near mint, this record was purchased at time of release and then placed in storage for over 3 decades. I cannot stress this enough: You simply will NEVER find this record in such a condition, barring a sealed copy (and best of luck to you in finding THAT). I can say with complete confidence that this copy will play perfectly on your equipment no matter what. There aren't even any sleeve scuffs or hairlines to be found. I have literally opened sealed records that have more defects than this record from being shuffled around in their sleeves. This is perfect, shiny, clean vinyl you are bidding on. This is the copy of "Dressed To Kill" that you have only dreamed about. The copy you had doubts about actually existing. In this auction, it's right here for you to own now, so look no futher. 33 year old vinyl has NEVER looked this good.

Any true KISS collecters will be able to see that this auction simply cannot be overlooked. Anyone else that hasn't yet realized what is being offered here is the cream of the crop.....well, I've done my best to let you know. This is why I say "Only true collector's need apply". This copy is impossible to upgrade, no matter what you currently own as a KISS collector. You may as well throw your copy in the garbage once you win this auction. It simply can't compete. For an audiophile listening experience, this copy will provide you with the EXACT same sounds that you would have heard if you had purchased this LP 33 years ago. From a collector's point of view, this item is the same as if you had just opened a brand new copy of "Dressed To Kill" back in 1975. Items like this don't come along often. You don't want to be known as the KISS fan who read this description and then passed it up.
To anyone still in doubt, I challenge you to take a good, long look at the other copies currently being offered on ebay. Do you see the massive wear and tear? Have you read the various descriptions about the vinyl being "very good sounding", or "no major problems"? These auctions are fantastic for people just looking to fill a hole in their collection. However, any true KISS collector will feel genuine excitement about this auction. They realize that an item like this is difficult to come by in any market. They know that this LP will be a MAJOR addition to not only their KISS collection, but will add value to their entire collection as a whole. You simply don't find records from 1975 in this condition. Now is your chance. Do you consider yourself enough of a collector to invest in this crown-jewel? I know there are plenty of you out there, its just all a matter of separating the serious fans from the casual ones. Now is your chance to set yourself apart. Good luck on this auction, you won't see one like it again. Ask yourself: Can your KISS collection afford NOT to own this?
