Description

You are looking at an extremely rare and very well taken care of Japanese Import Box Set of the first 9 KISS records released between 1974-1979. Two of the records - "Alive" and "Alive II" are two record sets, so there are 11 records in all. What is cool about this box set is that each record was pressed in a different color on high quality Japanese vinyl. "Kiss" was pressed on blueish/purple vinyl, "Hotter Than Hell" was pressed on yellow vinyl, "Dressed to Kill" was pressed on red vinyl, "Kiss Alive" was pressed on pink vinyl,  "Destroyer" was pressed on dark green vinyl, "Rock & Roll Over" was pressed on blue vinyl, "Love Gun" was pressed on purple vinyl, "Kiss Alive II" was pressed on light green vinyl and "Dynasty" was pressed on white vinyl. Each of the records come in their original covers with "Love Gun" and "Rock & Roll Over" coming in very nice gatefold jackets in addition to "Alive" and "Alive II" which were originally in gatefold jackets. Because this is a Japanese import everything is of the very highest quality and cost an arm & leg when it was brand new. The jackets are constructed of high quality thick cardboard stock and are very solid! The box set comes with a very nice sticker sheet, an uncut set of 6 KISS trading cards and a 36-page booklet with many never before seen pictures and the lyrics to every single song. Everything is in brand new pristine Mint condition. I bought this set brand new at my local Tower Records store some 6 years ago and opened it when I first brought it home just to look at it. Since then the box has been closed up and living in its plastic wrapper until I just removed it for the pictures. Heck, the records have never even been removed from their plastic sleeves! The black box that holds everything inside is in beautiful glossy Near Mint condition. I have seen this box set go for as much as $500 on ebay and this one is probably the best taken care of that you will ever find that is not still sealed. Those of you who have purchased rare & collectable vinyl from me before know that I only offer the highest quality products up for auction.
