ITEM:   Original Kiss LP,  "( Music From ) The Elder".  RARE 1ST COVER WITH FACTORY PRINTING ERROR: TITLES ARE OUT OF SEQUENCE AND SOME ARE MISSING. Released on Casablanca/PolyGram Records, catalog number NBLP-7261.

COMMENTS/CONDITION:  Grading was done by a visual inspection under a bright light source, and the record was test played.

Grading is in accordance with Goldmine Rating Standards. If you are not familiar with the definitions, please go to Goldmine's web site and review them BEFORE you bid.

This LP came from a private collection, it is not a worn-out ex-library item or a beat up record bought at a yard sale. The original studio poly inner sleeve and lyric sheet are included .

The vinyl is in clean, VG++ Condition, retaining a nice high gloss sheen. There are no warps, cracks, deep scratches, or groove wear. Center hole is perfectly round with no signs of repeated playing. Close visual inspection reveals a few very light scuff and hairline marks that do not affect the playback or listening enjoyment of the LP. Both sides played through on my older system with no skips, groove lock, or harsh background noise. ( Note: All sound systems are different. These comments are for reference only. They are not a statement as to the results you may experience with your equipment ).

Both labels are in excellent, clean condition. There are no spindle tracks, tears, peeling edges, stickers, or writing.

The gate-fold cover is VG+ or better.  There are no warps, stickers, price tags, writing, or tape. Cover colors are crisp and bright. Photos and graphics are sharp and clear. There are two light crease lines and a small  1/2 inch x 1/2 inch indentation mark on the inside covers. The top right corner tip has been clipped.

To compensate for these cosmetic imperfections, I have listed this LP at an attractive Buy It Now price. Don't sleep on this one. There were only a limited number of these first covers released before the factory recalled them and issued a corrected version.
