KISS with THE ELDER! This is the RARE version with the PAPER INNER LYRIC SLEEVE! These came standard with a clear plastic inner sleeve without any lyrics. Who knows how many and when these were pressed and printed - and why?!?!?! If you always wanted to know the words to "ODYSSEY" then here's your chance! And you know what else? This album doesn't suck! Yes of course it's not Dressed To Kill but this is a pivotal moment in their career! New drummer! Should we take the makeup off? Bill Aucoin out of the picture shortly...? LOU M'FING REED and BOB EZRIN? Good shit. I will always love this one. Please read grading details below!
All records are cleaned thoroughly with the SPIN CLEAN Record Washer system and are ready to throw on the turntable.

3) All of my records are cleaned with the Spin Clean MK-II. It does a fantastic job. Remember - cleaning them doesn't remove the scratches of scuffs, but it does remove the grime and fingerprints and dust and bong resin and Cheetos flakes. I'll put it this way: if I were selling a used car, there's no way I would put it on the lot with a price tag on it if I haven't cleaned it first. And when I get a used record in the mail, it makes me so much happier when it's already cleaned and ready to go. It takes time and effort to do this but I want you to be happy. Plus, it's easier to grade and see how many marks are on the record after it gets a bath. Hip hip HOORAY! We win!

ADDITIONAL INFO: Not a record club issue, not a later 80's pressing. Not much is known why there was a paper inner sleeve w/lyrics vs. the clear plastic inner sleeve which is the much more common pressing. SO COOL!

DUDES AND DUDETTES - I CLEAN MY RECORDS. I TAKE GOOD PHOTOS. I ACTUALLY LIKE TO SIT HERE AND GRADE THEM WHEN MY KIDS ARE IN BED. I'M HAVING A GAS - YOU SHOULD TOO!
Most of my albums (both jackets and discs) show their age and have been visibly used over the years. I have cleaned each and every one of these and given them a visual grade (and will also play grade - time permitting - if they how questionable surface marks). I will try to be as specific as possible with the imperfections in the details below and will note when there is something significant. Most of these will be decent players at higher volume levels so if that's what you're after, go for it. I have a full time job and don't really do this for the money - most of the time the money I make goes right back into more records for my collection. I have 2 young kids and this is called "daddy" time in the basement. I absolutely do NOT want to attempt to rip off anyone...I'm here for the party, man!

Overall, anything with a grade of 7/VG+ will show some surface wear and/or needle marks but nothing deep. Anything with that grade will still play fine in my book. Obviously if it's an 8/EX or 9/NrMINT it will be in fantastic condition. Please note the subjective nature of grading; your VG+ might be my VG or my VG+ might be someone else's EX - you just have to pay attention, read my grading scale, and most importantly - ASK QUESTIONS.
HERE'S HOW I GRADE:
10 – MINT (Sealed, perfect condition.)
9 – Nr MINT (Like new with only a hint of wear.)
8 – EX (Very few blemishes. Maybe a couple light scratches on the vinyl or a few light creases to the jacket. Serious collectors will be satisfied with this grade.)
7 – VG+ (Average, used condition. Most of my vinyl and jackets are in this condition. Vinyl will show playwear/scratches, but nothing deep and it will play through fine. You may encounter a "pop" or two or some light background noise.The jacket may have creasing, edgewear, ringwear, or corner dings but nothing significant.)
6 – VG (Vinyl/jacket may will show a fair to moderate amount of wear .Vinyl may show a number of scratches and you will likely experience some background noise during playback, but NO skips. The jacket may show a fair amount of wear in the form of creasing, edgewear, ringwear, writing, seam splits, etc.)
5 – VG- (Rarely will I sell anything of this grade unless it is a collector item with some value. Moderate to heavy wear on the vinyl and/or jacket.)
I WILL DETAIL ANY IMPERFECTIONS TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY IN MY ITEM DESCRIPTION! HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY!
