Description
Paul Stanley - Paul Stanley
Casablanca VIP-6577 Japan 1978
Sleeve: Excellent
Vinyl: Excellent
Paul Stanley's 1978 solo album was the most Kiss-like of the four, sounding more like an official band release rather than a solo outing. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing -- Stanley had become a seasoned hard rock songwriter by this point, churning out some of Kiss' best material, and wisely stuck to his winning formula on his solo outing. With the help of studio musicians, as well as guitarist Bob Kulick and drummer Carmine Appice, Stanley's album is on par with Ace Frehley's as far as consistency is concerned.
Rare original Japanese 9-track vinyl LP, pasted colour picture sleeve complete with glossy inner, superb 17" x 22" fold-out colour 'mural' poster, illustrated 4-page Japanese text biography/lyric insert and wide Paul Stanley 'comic book' image/Kiss logo obi-strip!
