Description
This 2021 German reissue of KILLERS was pressed in limited quantity -- only 4,000 made. The final four photos show how gorgeous the translucent pink vinyl looks on all four sides (those photos are from another copy of this album).
Each copy pressed is individually-numbered on the bottom of the back side of the jacket; this one is #684 as shown in the photos. The silver-foil gatefold jacket looks fantastic -- much better than the dull look of other versions of this album. The shininess of this jacket makes its colors really pop!
The consensus is that this version sounds fantastic because of being remastered at half-speed and pressed on audiophile vinyl.
As with the Japan edition of this album from its original 1982 release, this new 2021 edition includes two bonus songs that the original version (other than Japan) does not have -- Escape From the Island and Shandi.
As shown in the photos, the top-right corner on the front side of the jacket (and its other side at the top-left corner on the back side) has a very small ding. The photo of the front side's corner makes the ding look larger than it really is because of how close-up the photo is.
I will ship the album in a Bags Unlimited Mighty Music Mailer, one of the best (if not THE best) record album mailers you can find. It does a fantastic job of protecting record albums because of its sturdiness and the fact that its "offset crush zone" corners create a buffer zone for the album jacket's corners.
