KISS | ALIVE II | Misprint Version | + 3 Songs on Cover | 1/15| EXTREMELY RARE! Im Jahre 1977 wurden üblicherweise die Covers gedruckt, bevor das Vinyl gepresst wurde. KISS planten die Songs Take Me, Hooligan und Do You Love Me auf Alive II zu veröffentlichen und ließen die Covers drucken, auf denen zusätzlich im Gatefold 7 Songcredits vermerkt waren. Kurze Zeit danach wurde entschieden die Songs nicht auf das Album zu nehmen und die wenigen bereits gedruckten Cover vernichten zu lassen. Bekannt als Keel pressing wurde so am 29. Oktober 1977 ALIVE II ohne die 3 Titel und mit lediglich 6 Songcredits im Gatefold veröffentlicht. Aus unbekannten Gründen gelangen etwa 50 Cover (wie oben beschrieben) in den Handel. Diese gehören heute zu den seltensten KISS Vinylpressungen. Noch verrückter wird es bei der hier angebotenen Pressung, bei der auf der Rückseite die 3 Extratitel und im inneren Gatefold lediglich 6 Songcredits zu finden sind - also ein doppeltes Misprint. Bei discogs nennt man sie ALIVE II Misprint Version 3 und in der "Fachwelt wird von 10-15 Exemplaren weltweit gesprochen. Ich hatte das Glück bereits eine davon zu besitzen. Jetzt biete ich ein Exemplar in noch besserem Cover Zustand mit komplettem Merch Form, Tattoo und Booklet an. Das Vinyl würde ich konservativ mit VG bewerten. KISS planned to release the songs Take Me, Hooligan and DoYou Love Me on Alive II and had the covers printed, which also included 7 songcredits in the gatefold. A short time later it was decided not to include the songs on the album and to have the few covers that had already been printed destroyed. Known as Keel Pressing, ALIVE II was released on October 29, 1977without the 3 titles and with only 6 song credits in the gatefold. For unknown reasons, about 50 covers (as described above) are released. These are among therarest KISS vinyl pressings today. It gets even crazier with the pressing offered here,where the 3 extra titles can be found on the back and only 6 song credits can be found on the inner gatefold - a double misprint. At discogs it is calledALIVE II Misprint Version 3 and in the "expert world" there are 10-15 copies worldwide. I was lucky enough to already own one of them. Now I am offering a copy in even better cover condition with complete merch form, tattooand booklet. I would rate the vinyl conservatively with VG. Shipping outside EU 100 USD insured to value!
