On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Kinks called 'The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - ESPECIALLY IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!  AND THIS ONE IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PYE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS MONO FLIPBACK LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE IN MONO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the original Pye UK 1st pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on MEGA THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is NPL 18233 on the 1st Press Pye label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Kinks at their best!!!! Any fan of The Kinks, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 3 or 4 scufflines, a VERY few light hairlines, 2 or 3 light surface marks and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY (if not better) as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, only a few light clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only the very VERY slightest MEGA low level touch of surface noise in a VERY few places!!!!  The sound quality is SUPERB and CRYSTAL CLEAR with NO distortion and NO groovewear!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The Gatefold 1st Press Laminated Flipback MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT overall condition and really does look VERY nice indeed!!!!  The cover has a STUNNING sharp edged opening front flap with NO cardboard thickening and NO wear!!!!  The back edges (where the record is contained) have NO edgewear (apart from a small area of roughening on one edge - NOT through the colour), and there is NO spinal wear AT ALL with ALL the side words PERFECT!!!!  The corners are in BRILLIANT condition with NO wear to the opening front flap corners, only VERY slight wear to the back corners (NOT through the colour), and only slight wear to the spinal corners - though these are MILES better than most with NO 'holes' in the top bottom of the spine (MEGA rare on this cover)!!!!  The cover has only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering (MEGA rare on this cover)!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, NO rubbing and NO yellowing!!!!  There are typically a few small areas of laminate loss on this cover - but it is VERY important to stress that this is LAMINATE ONLY and can only be seen under light!!!!  ALL the colours are AMAZINGLY vivid and STUNNING looking!!!!  There is also NO staining, NO writing, NO splits, and nasty sticker tears!!!!  The only other thing to mention is a PERFECTLY (and virtually INVISIBLE) repaired small tear on the right hand side opening flap. It has been virtually SEAMLESSLY and clearly professionally repaired (NO tape), and is 100% strong and is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to notice!!!!  Even with this VERY minor defect (believe me this cover looks BRILLIANT) I still believe the cover fully deserves a grading of Very Good+ and is EXTREMELY hard to find in this condition!!!  THIS IS A GREAT CONDITIONED 1968 MONO 1ST PRESSING AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
