On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Kinks called 'The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pye label!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLY HARD TO FIND -ESPECIALLY IN MONO!!!! THIS HAS TO BE REGARDED AS ONE OF THE RAREST KINKS LPS - AND CERTAINLY ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER!!!!  IT FAILED TO CHART ON RELEASE AND DIDNT SELL WELL AT ALL!!!!  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the original Pye UK MONO 1st pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on MEGA THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is NPL 18233 on the 1st Press Blue Pye label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Kinks at their best!!!! Any fan of The Kinks, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and plays AWESOMELY and shines like new!!!!  It has NO scratches, 1 small NON SOUNDING hairline, 2 or 3 of the VERY lightest NON SOUNDING scufflines only visible under light, and only a very VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNING as the visual!!!! There is NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!!  There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  JUST CRYSTAL CLEAR MUSIC!!!!  WHAT A SUPERB PLAYING RECORD!!!!  The record must STRICTLY grade visually Very Good++++ if not better - with the playing grade more like FULL Excellent if not better!!!! IT IS REALLY TOUGH TO FIND A MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS RECORD THAT PLAYS THIS WELL!!!!  STUNNING!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The Gatefold 1st Press MONO Cover is in great condition!!!! The cover has NO rips, NO tears, NO staining, NO writing, NO edgewear, only slight roughening to the VERY point of the spine (NOT through the colour, virtually ALL of the side words are PERFECTLY readable - and NO splits and NO 'flaking'), only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges to the front flap are nice and straight looking - with NO flaking, and NO fraying - and just some slight cardboard thickening/creasing. The main faces of the cover (inside and out) are in GREAT condition generally with VERY shiny laminate, NO ringwear, and NO laminate lifting!!!!  The flipbacks on the inside of the cover are PERFECT and undamaged!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, and NO yellowing!!!!  The only other thing to mention is some slight corner wear (see pictures) - which mainly affects the spinal corners and is MUCH less to the other corners.  There is NO splits, NO tears and the laminate is wonderfully shiny!!!! There is also slight 'yellowing' along the top left of the inside of the cover - though this really doesnt detract from the cover much at all!!!! The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed), if not better!!!!  THIS IS STILL A GREAT CONDITIONED MONO 1ST PRESSING WITH A VERY NICE LOOKING COVER AND A SUPERB LOOKING AND PLAYING RECORD!!!!  DONT MISS OUT!!!!
