KINKS: Something Else, UK STEREO 1967 PYE LP, orig. 1st pressing in silvery flip back cover. Clean copies of this LP are becoming beyond difficult, as you know. DISC is graded VISUALLY super clean NEAR MINT, with the immediate look of a mint record. Very close scrutiny reveal a couple of minor minor surface marks, almost invisible, all inaudible. SOUND is perfect MINT-, truly fantastic, razor sharp: pefect sound from start to finish. I played this twice, at considerable volume, to check for any potential flaws in the sound, and found none. Even the run-in grooves are almost as quiet as imaginable. IN CONCLUSION: a stunning looking and playing disc that has probably been played approx. 2-5 times. COVER is only a notch below, graded EXCELLENT(+), with minor minor edge wear only, a bit on lower spine (very superficial; some of the silvery surface missing from the lower spine). Upper and back spines are great. A bit of edge wear in corners. There's a small crease, almost invisible, on lower back-flap. Nothing major in any way. A great cover - almost impossible to find like this. Comes with NM perfect unsplit orig. poly-lined innerslv. So what can I say - copies like this are almost a miracle these days - 'Something Else' is probably the Kinks' best ever LP (to my taste, anyway), and in my experience one of the hardest to find in Nr MINT condition. So good luck - and rest assured that this will be packed and shipped safely, should you be the lucky winner...
GRADINGS: I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING: There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
